DBPOX Bulletine Board System

dpbox is a  fully featured multi protocol and multi user packet radio BBS written by Joachim Schurig (DL8HBS). It has the capability of handling up to 200 simultaneous users and capacity of storing a maximum of 32767*32767 messages. Other features include support of the F6FBB, W0RLI and TheBox style forwarding protocols, PACSAT,  YAPP, MD2 and MD5 password authentication, shell login (disabled on NetBSD on default), auto 7plus extractor, web-access and much more.

dpbox was ported to NetBSD in January 1999 using the dpbox-5.07 distribution. New releases of dpbox have since seen many improvements and every effort was made to keep track with the latest developements.
